Recommendation for portable headphone amp with line input?

I have a discman with a not so great headphone jack, but a dedicated line out and want a headphone amp that I can use to get improved sound. I'm aware of the Fosi Audio SK01, but I'm wondering if there's anything better out there.

Required features: line level input and analog volume dial.

Optional features: 3 or more band eq dials

Budget is $200

I use a Topping nx3s and I replaced the op amp ( the original was a cheap copy)
I use mine with an 160gb ipod and iem’s , I sometimes use it with akg k712

Thanks. I guess as a follow-up question, are the DACs in discmen around 2003 any good? Would it do me any good connecting the NX7 for example to the line out of a d-ne710?
