Anyone recommend some good tape decks (make and models) that are not super high end and maybe obtainable at reasonable price.

Would like something with auto calibration or at least a bias control with dolby B,C and S is possible.

Anyone suggest a place to try and find one thats not rip off eBay and in Canada.

Aiwa ADF810. had one back in the day and regretted selling it and never bought another tape deck, even threw all the tapes out.

but any half decent 3 head will do the trick. just give it a good demagnatising and head clean. look out for head wear a it will wreck your tapes.

I had a Nak Dragon but sold it a few years ago. It's a remarkable cassette deck but unfortunately cost a ton of money these days, especially if it's been refurbished. Nak guru Willy Hermann rebuilt mine.
Before I had the Dragon I had a RX-202, less expensive but still a great deck.
