Hi everyone

I've been reading for forums for a while but signed up for a little advice!
I currently own a pair of Shure SE215 IEMs, which serve me brilliantly for commuting and the gym. (They also expose how terrible the sound output from my Lumia 800 is!)

I'm looking to spend around £150 on some over ear, although potentially on ear, headphones which are closed in design. (I'd like to use them at work sometimes)
I listen to a lot of UK hip hop, electronic, rock and occasionally some acoustic.
I've been looking at the K550/551s, but I've read that the bass although very well defined can be lacking in oomph.

Does anybody have a recommendation for me? I'm planing on trying a few pairs on before spending the money but I need to know what to ask for first. I have tried a few pairs on in currys/pc world since I was nearby and actually really liked the sound of the Sony MDR-ZX600's

Thanks in advance

Chris

If bass is what your looking for, try the Sony MDR-XB400, those Sony MDR-ZX600's are also good. If your willing to increase your budget a bit, try looking for the Sony MDR-1R, and try Checking out the Philips Fidelio Range.
