reading the head-fi link you provided and noting that the release date on the alldirect.com site is november 2001, i would guess that that disc is the 'K2' 20-bit remaster that apparently sounds like an XRCD

. no guarantees though. you know what the K2 remasters look like based on the link i provided. order it from alldirect.com and find out if you got the right one. regardless, i can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the music.

It does appear that these are the K2 remasters. Hmm, I might just order the Modern Jazz Quartet, just for the heck of it. I mean, they won't sound bad. . .

edit: also, could that best of MJQ be a K2 remaster, if not an XRCD?

according to your original link, that Modern Jazz Quartet CD has a release date of 1988. it's definitely not a 'K2' remaster as those have only been released in the last 2 or 3 years.

Agree--Full House is a great record. Whatever the remastering, you can't go wrong.

For the MJQ, stay with their Atlantic stuff.
