Hey guys. i think im goign to have to sell my sr 225 and cmoy soon :'( for money for college stuff.

I'm just going to be bringing my laptop i think so i'm going to use my Ipod as my main source with no amp.

I mainly listen to punk music but also some dave matthews style stuff here and there. I really really like my sr-225s so if yall know something similar i'd like lemee know. I'm thinking maybe the sr-60s but i dont know.

I'm not a bass head at all, i use my sr-225s with the bowl pads so you can see i find the highs more important.

I'm looking at something budget, like ~50 bucks maybe. Thanks a lot.

EDIT: I really like open headphones but since ill be in a dorm next year i dont wanna bug my roomate. If you know something that fits my needs that doesnt leak much lemee know. If you know some closed headphoens that sound decent post those too

SR-60's!!! The cheapest way to get sound that approximates the SR225's. Nothing else sounds like a Grado than another Grado!

KSC75 Amp with a $50 Cmoy or used govibe. Mod it to bring out the highs and soundstage dynamics. IMHO cant beat that for $65.
