I wanted to make a headphone amp and my father being the electronics genius he is (literally he is engineering manager at the RADAR gun manufacturing place he works at) I recruited him to help me build a headphone amp.

I would like to find some schematics for those "cmoy" pocket headphone amps and maybe a nice desktop amp, while trying to keep the components cheap.
So if someone could maybe find me some of those they will be hopefully used, and you will be thanked.

Remember these are only being hooked up to some HD485s

Check the DIY section here - no shortage of ideas there.

Maybe your Dad could design a new fancy DIY amp.

He probably could based on his vast knowledge on everything electronic. At his job he designs the layout of the RADAR guns with Autocad, and designs the PCBs and designs the layouts of the components.
I am not too familiar with this site, but I will look for the section, or just wait for someone to post it.

Anyone have a pretty good CMOY one? Those look like gateways to other things so yeah, can someone please find me a nice CMOY guide and get me started? I guess I can try looking on Google too.

LOL just posted right before you, I think that is the one I am going to do, although I may mod a switch on to it for going between 9V battery and 9V wall adapter. For both mobile and stationary use.
