Recommend me some classical (please?)

Hi

I'm new to classical.
Could someone please recommend some classical by well known composers and the recommended recording to get? Some of my favorite pieces that I've heard are Bach's Partita No. 3 (Prelude), Suite No. 1 for Unac. Cello (Prelude), and Holst's The Planets. That probably doesn't help much. Sorry. Please help. I'm thinking I'll probably get Yo-Yo Ma's complete Bach Suites for Unac. Cello.

Edit: Oh, and I liked Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue if that helps any.
I don't really like solo piano otherwise.

Opps - you may also want to look into Glenn Gould's interpretations of Bach's keyboard works. If you don't like Gould, try Pollini.
