Oh god. I love Dr. Octagon and Deltron 3030. I should have been in bed an hour ago, but I'm seriously going to go listen to those now...

Not strictly electronic but there's loads of programmed stuff on it and it leans more that way than anything else they've done.

Life changing for me are these 3 Tangerine Dream Albums

Ricochet
Pergamon epic
Rubycon

First 2 are live massive attack, underworld and orbital followed the trail that was blazed by these albums.
Try listening in the dark at night for full effect!

Seems like this was resurrected but seeing as I didn't see it anywhere else and if anyone else is open to suggestions, more the indie electro-pop sort of stuff.

Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours
Van She - V
Breakbot - By Your Side
Grum - Heartbeats

Flight Facilities don't do albums, but are on regular rotation on my playlist. If they just chucked their singles on an album it would be up there as one of my favourites.

Some less well known:

Strange Talk
Gold Fields
Tim and Jean
Panama
Twinsy
Caseno
KAMP!
City Calm Down
RAC
Penguin Prison
Washed Out

All have a few good songs, not amazing 'albums/EPs' though I'd admit.

I've missed heaps but my music collection is a mess so just had a quick flick through what I'm listening to at the minute.

Lots of fantastic stuff being put out there. The Glitch Mob love makes me so very happy :)

I'll throw something different out:

Solar Fields: Earthshine

Most of Magnus' stuff is complex and deeply layered ambient stuff. Earthshine is his more upbeat house style cd, and its unbelievable. I think it woud definitely fit into what you're looking for.

On a side note, there is a song on one of his new albums that "changed my life." The first time I listened to it was one of those musical epiphanies. It's called Sombrero. Here's a link:

Enjoy!
