Just as the title says.... anything goes! The cheaper, the better of course. Please give me the price of the amp you are recommending, too!

THANKS!

You know there aren't many options in the price range.

SMv3..
Glimore Lite..
SR-72..

Well these are going to be the common choices

Not that I have one but I've seen a few posts advocating the WooAudio 3 in conjunction with the 650s. I want one . . . maybe others can comment on the synergy.

Price: $470 plus $20 shipping within the U.S. Power cord and interconnection are not included.

Just makes the limit . . .assuming you have an extra power cord and interconnects laying around

The M3 brought my 580's to life, so I'd assume it would work well with a 650.
I think Mister x's base price is $280, but mine was more with the better steps psu, par metal 20 case, op amps(8065) and caps.
Nice thing about this amp is you can amp roll to suit the phones.

for $299, you really cant go wrong with the Gilmore Lite. a simple search will turn up tons of information on the Gilmore/Senn combo.

Eddie Current HD300. I LOVED it with my HD580's, and it seems to get a lot of praise from other members. Hell, the HD25 and up and coming DM2 seem to rock as well

Gilmore Lite gets my vote.. although I've never heard them from an HD650, it seems fantastic according to other people; was very good with my SA5000's.
