this one's for my sister. i want to introduce her to the real thing. for a start, maybe something around 30 bucks. unlike me, she doesn't mind IEMs. she listens to japanese music mostly (eurobeat/ techno-ish). what do you guys recommend? i know there's a sticky about phones and prices but i need more opinions. thx in advance!

You might want to try the Sennheiser CX300, which will probably be good for techno music (if this japanese music is anything like house/trance). You might be able to get them for cheap prices as there are many rebates going around in the US.
