Looking for a desktop setup that's a good match for Grado SR225s and Ultimate Ears TripleFi's.  DAC needs an optical input, I'll use the mini-Toslink output on my MacBook.  Budget - $300-500.  Mostly listen to Americana, pop, and a bit of hip hop here and there.  
 
Have been curious about the Schiit Modi Uber and Vali 2 as a combo - any thoughts on that? Other suggestions?

The Little Dot MKIII is going for $220 at Massdrop.  Is this overkill, or would that be a good pairing for these two headphones? Thoughts on the Little Dot I+?
