Recommend an amp with Prophonic 2X-Soft IEMs?

Another way to ask...will an amp like an RSA Tomahawk pay me back with comparable musical enjoyment? I also watch a lot of movies while on flights...will an amp improve the movie experience?

the Tomahawk is the best of the best amp I heard with mine, and I heard a few..just a few..hehe

Can you indulge me with a comparison with/without the Tommy? Also, since you are from Chicago, ever seen the Assassins live?

with most amps and the Sensa's i get line noise threw the Sensa's probably cause their so Sensitive or efficient or something of the nature. the only amp I have not heard no noise was the Tomahawk, surprised me cause I would of thought the ****** brother's I have would of done so also..not the case.

also another huge little big and small thing about the pairing is the sound stage the Tomahawk gives my Sensa's..I mean its Crazy huge *Extreme* style. other amps and the sensa's have nice Soundstage but nothing compared to the Toma..even much bigger and badder home amps can not do it like the TH.

I think its all in the low power of the Toma and the voicing RSA did when designing the amps sound...

, talking about the band out of Chicago called "Assassins". They are fantastic.

Anyhow, I learned today that I will also need a DAC in order to use an amp with my mobile DVD player so now considering the micro-dac/micro amp from head room. Any thoughts?
