With the recent accusation of a Technics SL-Q6 TT that is not the greatest of cosmetic conditions but it still plays perfectly, the stock cartridge in which it came with does not satisfy me and thus I am obviously am looking to acquire a new one.
Price is of no grave concern to me but I would prefer the best deal I can get (the table cost me $35).
I was recommended a discontinued cartridge before, but I had trouble finding a reputable like dealer to purchase it from. Thus if you have any sort of recommendations of that nature, please inform me of the best dealer to purchase it from online.

Now this is a tangential tracking table which has the motor and arm installed in the plastic cover; I have no idea as to how I would adjust the tracking weight.

Thank you,
fetus

Audio Technica makes some good P-Mount cartridges, and Ortofon has their P-Mount OMP line (these should be very close to the standard-mount Super OM line). Both can be purchased at www.needledoctor.com According to the manual for the Technics SL-QL1 at www.vinylengine.com (the closest match I could find to your turntable there) there should be a screw to adjust the tracking weight on the bottom of the turntable.

I believe the optimal tracking weight of a P-mount cartridge should be 1.5 grams. P-mount is suppose to be a plug-and-play design, although I had a Sony linear-tracking turntable that offered tracking weight adjustments.
