I have been messing about with MPC-HC and Reclock.  Seems to produce constant popping sounds in both channels.
This might not be the community to ask, but I figured why not see if anyone has an idea here.
Also why does 24bit int padded to 32 not function with ODAC yet works A okay with a 24 bit built in dac, neither are native 32 bit.
Lastly it's an o2 combo, could it be relevant to the amp rather than the dac?

Salut,
I'm new to these parts.

Hello and welcome. ReClock can be a real pain and as far as I know the guy who was the developer for it has been gone a long time. There are new 64bit builds of MPC and LAV filters and many people want 64bit ReClock to go along with it but no one can get a hold of the guy.

Have you disabled ReClock to see if you still get the popping? Need to at least rule that out.

Not sure about the padded resampling. As you said the o2 isn't 32 bit so it probably wont accept the input. Maybe the built in DAC is doing something where it's also not actually playing the padded signal natively but making you think it is.

If you need questions answered about ReClock, you might want to try the doom9 forums, that's where a lot of the MPC development goes on.

Oh yes. I have no problems with the ODAC running in default directsound. The pops are isolated to WASAPI exclusive in Reclock. I haven't had any issue with WASAPI in ableton live on either dac so it may be implemented differently.

I will dig on the said forums to find more information about it. Especially since it's my curiosity rather than a real issue I'm having.
Thanks for the consideration and time.
