Well they arrived: first impression, "wow these aren't nearly as big as some people make them out to be". Second impression (at the mirror, with them on) "well, maybe they are.."

My very first impressions (less than an hour) are positive, these phones are definitely not crap. In fact they are quite good. However, if all I had to go on was this very short listening session - my 600's would be staying far longer than these. That's all I'll say for now, I will definitely be giving these more than their fair shake - at least a week of heavy listening. I'll post a comparative review between them and my 600's at that time.

I'll be looking forward to the comparison! I'm surely very happy with my switch from the senns, although I couldn't do any A/Bing since my wallet did not allow the keeping of both cans at the same time...

all I can say is that, soon you'll be addicted and fall in love with the plump, voluptuous gray beauty.

are you using the Mg head OTL to power the cd3000?

the cd3000 might benefit more on a different amp .

Now, I'm not sure if I want you to do a full review of them or not... barely anyone has these on the FS forum, so... that means they're good... probably TOO good

...I can't afford anymore phones!
