Reccomend me a good DAP/PMP...

Im not too fussed on storage, ive only ever had a 8gb player
id like it to be touch screen if possible as im getting used to it now
id like it to have a nice size screen/generally nice looking, ie nothing old

atm i an iphone with my tf 10 with treble boost and like the treble rich sound
i like symphonic/electric/powermetal/classical/trance/female vocalist/opera mix anything with alot of highs and punchy not boomy bass

id use it with tf10, and possibly an amp

atm i get distortion at higher volumes, because of the poor iphone eq/sq combo but really like the treble emphasis

anything good out there fo my situation or should i stick

Cowon D2...goes up to 16gb plus SDHC support

or

Archos 604 I believe is touch screed. Depends on what you want to do with the player though because this thing is big.

i believe the archos 604 is a little big, id probably use it more for music than anything else and my iphone for movies etc as its good for that

If thats the case the D2 would be the way to go. I just got one on Amazon for $135.00 free shipping (4gb w/ 8gb card).

If it was movies only I'd look at the ZVW nice widescreen plus Compact Flash support.

i quite like the look of samsung yp-p2 thats the style im after

definitly not the sonys, they look awful
zune has no eq
id rather stay away from ipods

the d2 and p2 look nice as does the clix2

Well I find the Clix2 pretty great in terms of SQ

has a custom 5 band EQ and it looks awesome especially with some the custom flash themes. If its style and function, your looking for the Clix2 is probably your best choice. If not, the Cowon D2 is also great, with awesome SQ and much more EQ settings. However, not as "good looking" as the Clix2. It's also touchscreen which is a positive or negative, depending on your needs.
