my brother's e2c had been broken and well, i recabled them just now..
at first, i just changed the plug but it seems that the wire itself had gone bad so.. i just did it again, from the beginning.. i didnt go all the way inside the chamger but well, i'll probably have to, next time it breaks..

oh, yeah, didnt have warranty..

what kind of cable did you use?

recabling the e2c is not easy...

They use SUPER fine coil lead-in wire, and theres a very small solder pad to attach the cables too. So the heat generated from soldering is transmitted directly to the coil lead-in wires. Even IF you get inside the enclosure without destroying it, the odds of melting the wire while soldering are very high.... Yes I tried and cooked em' in a heartbeat with a 25 watt iron.
