Hey, I'm in search for a new set of headphones to use mainly when I'm snowboarding, and occasionally for my smart phone. They'll mostly be connected to my iPod Nano.

I've browsed Amazon and used the powers of Google search (which brought me here) but I can't seem to quite find what I'm looking for. Problem is, most of the quality brands out there are all designed to be stuffed into your ear canals and block out ambient noise. I want to hear what's going on around me, whether its the edging of my snowboard, the angry skiers behind me, or that cute girl sitting next to me on the chairlift. Do these exist?

Open air, non-sound isolating.
In ear variety.
Fabric/nylon wrapped cord to avoid tangling.
Volume control and mic.
Less than $100.

And if possible, after performance of course, I really like the wood styling like these.  http://www.thehouseofmarley.com/earphones/freedom/redemption-song-ie-earphones.html
