I just bought an ad900x.  While it sounds fantastic for the first few minutes, the right speaker keeps going out, becoming quieter over the span of a few minutes until it goes out completely.  If I unplug and plug the jack back in it sounds fine again for several minutes before going out again.  While I would normally chalk this up to a bad cable/solder, what I noticed while unplugging it was that if the jack is left halfway out (as in both speakers play mono), the right speaker works without any issues.
 
Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?  Should I just return them, or is it worth opening up to check something?

I've returned these.  Even when the right side was working the sound seemed unnatural somehow.  I didn't A/B them with anything, but they're not the right phones for me.
