REAL bose vs skullcandies thread

Since I'm pretty sure everyone got tricked into clicking the other Bose vs Skullcandies thread, I decided to make a real one so we can endlessly debate(troll each other) the quality/price of the two brands relative to each other!

I voted Skullcandy only because Bose is the worst ever. Nothing can be worse than Bose.

I voted for Bose because in my naive days long before Head-Fi, I DID enjoy my Triports.

bose over skullcandies anytime. I would buy bose if it's priced 1/4th of its current price. It's not horrible sounding- just overpriced.

I wouldn't use skullcandies at any price. They're better off serving as a doorstop.

Nope, still have my BOSE Triport Oe's... I still love them for being so darned portable and the bass is very full... I was actually depressed by my HFI-700's when I heard the bass was not as powerful as the OE's.

I do realize now that the BOSE are all quite muddy and the Ultrasone's are much more detailed.

BTW, I have yet to conquer the In-ear with Treble booster EQ... (Just a fact) they are better than Shure's harsh sharp treble any day...

They're equally bad, but I voted for Bose. Bose has, somehow, convinced people that they're good and charge a premium.

i actually like bose triports (or around ear headphones or whatever they call it). i wouldnt mind buying it if it was 50 bucks.
i just need 30 or so points on my american express rewards program, and i'm gonna get it.
