After reading the informed and considered posts on this forum, I feel it's time to walk away from by Bose OE headphones and start enjoying a grown-up audio experience.

FWIR, I'm leaning towards the Denon AHD1001K, but would value any recommendations or input. My source is an iPod classic, without amp. Sound is my first priority, of course, with comfort coming a close second. I'm a girl, with a small to avg size head, and I like to listen to music (dance/electronic/alternative), mostly at home. My budget is <$200.

RE0s at head-direct if you want to save some money. I think they're great for dance / electronic and nowadays I dont get much use on it since my sister is busy using them all the time

TF10s & Shure 530s are also great but they might be a bit over your budget unless you find them used on the For Sales forums here.

Phonak & Monster Turbines seem to be popular around here also but I haven't tried them myself.
