So, I got my RE1's today...and in my haste I guess I must have left the packaging at the bus stop. So I lost all of my accessories (but not the earphones! That's the important part!). I had already replaced the large clear silicone bi-flanges with the smaller white bi-flanges (at least i think they were smaller...not sure.) But anyway, the original flanges on it were too large to put into my ear and the ones I have now sound *fantastic* but it is extremely difficult to get a good seal.

Are there any tips you like using on the headphones? I used to own a pair of ety's and I found that triple flange tip to be amazingly easy to seal and stay in your ears.

I might order another set of the bi-flanges from head-direct and see, but I would like some opinion on what other people use.

Edit: to clarify the ones I have now are too wide and do not go deep enough in to stay in.

if they are the same tips as the RE2's.

I use the double flange black ones. They are just a little too big for me and do get a bit uncomfortable. The white ones are a touch bigger but softer so i find it quite hard to get them to seal in my ears and when they do seal, the isolation does not seem as good as the black ones.

The "big" double flange clear'ish are just too stiff and big for my ears.

I used etys and used the triple flange for a long time till i tried the larger of the double flange tips and liked them better since they went deeper. I think the large flange of the etys tri-flange prevented that.

but the tri-flange seems to fit a very large percentage of ears on this forum so size wise my preference for the black re2 tips may not mean anything to you.

Comply foamies could work too, the T400.
