I've found iPod -> fiio e1 -> RE0 makes me just as happy as my other gear. They may not have huge base or an unnaturally wide soundstage, but they are awesome for tonal accuracy and detail.

how do you de-core the olives? isn't that thing gorilla glued or however to the foam?
