I just bought some yamaha hs5 studio monitors and I need a way for them to interface with my grant fidelity tubedac 11 (dac/amp combo) which only have rca outs. They offer line level out, solid state and tube outs all via RCA but my speakers can on,y take xlr or trs

What's the best way for me to hook this up without introducing noise or audible hum etc?

I've looked at some line level shifters but not sure of any reputable brands or if that's all I'll need, help is appreciated thank you

The Yamaha HS5 can work with an unbalanced line connection.
So a cable with RCA to 1/4" mono plugs will work.
Just get a cable like this (Hosa CRP-202)

You can probably just use an XLR to RCA adapter or cables that are wired that way.  You really don't have to worry about level shifting unless your monitors place some restriction on using single-ended connections.  Just note which pin is "hot" or +.  If the monitors have restrictions, then most music stores - Guitar Center, Sweetwater, Full Compass, et al will have transformers to do the conversion.
