I own a newer Taurus but I not getting the level of sound I heard from a Dark Star a few months back. The Dark Stra was in a show environment with my phones but with a lesser quality source and cables. What I heard from the Dark Star was more liquid, textured and organic then my Taurus MKII. Ultimately I my be forced to buy the Dark Star to make this comparison but I am looking other opinions from anyone that may have made a listening comparison between these ampifliers.

I was surprised, no one appeared interested in this comparison topic. Since posting this I've added Cavalli Liquid Gold to the list.

Really interested in the comparison if you decide to make one, and I am especially interested in the Taurus Mk.2 vs LAu comparison.

Well, it may be a few months till I get to a comparison, but did order a Liquid Gold. Keep in mind that both the Liquid Gold and the Taurus really need a fully balanced front end to realize their potential.
