I saw Bale for the first time when American Psycho came out. Man he nailed that big time, so creapy, so perfect. After that, he made a list of fantastic movies, don't forget 3:10 to Yuma f.e.
Prestige, Harsch Times, Equilibrium, Machinist, Rescue Dawn, Public Enemies, all good to great roles and/or movies. But out of all of them, I still prefer him doing his Batman thing. He owns that role and gave the character a new dimension.
 
@apatN; Iron man 2, so high? It was enjoyable but 8.5/10, no. I should really watch Lord of War. Have it lying around here since it came out, never took saw it.

Yeah sorry Bad times was the French title

I think his acting is rather monolithic sometimes though but it works well with the right characters.

Yep, please talk me out of it. There really is nothing wrong with it and in its genre it's really a good film.

I quite enjoyed Tron Legacy, oddly enough. Maybe it was a bit of nostalgia. 8.5-9/10. The soundtrack barely warrants a 3/10.

Saw Tron Legacy on opening day in 3D.  Some interesting visuals, but a pretty bland story and characters.  I'll give it a 6/10.
 
Also saw Black Swan over the weekend as well.  Really dark look at the behind the scenes world of ballet and into the mind of an aspiring ballerina.  Surprisingly good psychological thriller, even if you're not interested in ballet or anemic young women, 8/10.
