I found this poster making thing that makes 8x10's out of an image and makes them printable. I think its basically a free poster generator program I guess.

Yeah we used that to make a 7 x 7 picture of our friend for a party he couldn't make it to. Took up a whole wall. It looks great as long as you don't use a picture with a ton of fine detail.

Oh! Ya, I use it to make posters all the time. I first heard about it at school as a matter of fact. They were using it to make huge posters from photographs of students and teachers to put in our computer labs and hallways during special school events.
