This used to be the rap thread, but it has no activity anymore, so I guess your thread can be the new one!

I like all sorts of rap. My two favorite rappers are probably Eminem and Mega Ran.

Here are two more recent Eminem videos that many may have not seen. I look forward to hearing his new album that's coming out soon.

Mega Ran (formerly known as Random) specializes in nerdcore chiptunes. Many of his albums have video game music put to rap and some are available for free on Bandcamp.

Here are a few of my favorite Mega Ran tracks. If you're familiar with Final Fantasy VII, Castlevania, and Mega Man, you should get a kick out of these!

Eminem is a living legend, it is great the collaboration with big sean, two of Detroit finest. I am also digging Joey Badass at the moment, his jazz and soul samples are on point!

I'll have to look at the other thread to see what people here listen to. I enjoy the ladies though, and still listen to a few oldies now and then, including 2P and the occasional Eminen track (though I'm not a huge fan of the latter), and also some foreign artists from Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa. If you're open to that kind of thing, then I'm glad to post here. And if not, then feel free to look me up in the other threads here, since my tastes in other music also tend to run toward the hip-hoppish side.

As far as American artists are concerned, Tinashe is probably my favorite at the moment. She has a bit of an old-school vibe, but with some new school flava mixed in, which I like. And is usually pretty creative (and also quite a good dancer)...
