Looks like the EE hybrids are about to get some competition...

Sounds really interesting, for some reason I thought regular APEX modules were very difficult with a DD (the reason Foutré and Trio did not have them).

They do, but they’re built-in. The Fourte - not sure if this is the case for the Trio - has two ports on the side for the DD and the APEX module.

Yeah I read somewhere Fourte is a Frankenstein of drivers. One DD, one BA, one Tia mid and one Tia high. Nuts!

Correct. The Fourte has almost no soundtubes inside it, which is why it’s near impossible to create a custom version; it relies purely on acoustics to produce its sound.

For anyone who is interested, I just put up my full review of Lionheart:

Awesome, man! I’ll give it a read. :D

Thanks! Enjoyed reading your Vision Ears extravaganza! I think we are pretty much on the same line with the VE5. The one thing I was struggling with was the tips. I agree with what you said about the Final tips, but I also noticed that with the stock tips (not sure if SpinFit) the upper-treble lift you talked about was not as close to fatiguing, which is why I initially used them. The sound and comfort improvements with the Final tips though has convinced me to switch to those. Much more enjoyable to review that way. :D

Appreciate it, man. Amin and Marcel are awesome dudes and they made the whole experience an absolute joy. :D

Seems my review left a lasting impression. I felt Frankenstein was an appropriate parallel for this thing.
