Curious, what sort've genre are you into? Had the W1000X for a while, but I wouldnt consider them superior to D5200/HD600/K702.
Mainly ACG with female vocal and some New Age, pairing with the HA22TUBE. Ranking isn't just about sound, the W1000X is also more comfortable to wear than the others. And tbh I even prefer the W1000 more but it's discontinued. :joy:

Ah fair enough. I also preferred the W1000 more than the X tbh. It sounded alot more organic .

Music:
Fostex TH900
HiFiMan HE-560
Philips X2/Shure SRH-1540
Sennheiser HD700 (I love these headphones but they aren't prime for certain genres)

Movies/TV
TH900
SRH-1540
HD700
HE-560 (they get a little warm which makes them slightly uncomfortable)
X2

PC Gaming (Comfort is my #1 goal here then SQ):
HD700 (give me zero fatigue over long periods of time and are so much lighter than TH900s)
TH900 (The bass and immersion of an almost perfect closed can is hard to beat)
1540/HE-560 (1540s are more comfortable but 560s sound better)
X2
Music:
Stellia / TH900 (depends on what I'm listening to)
HE-6SE v2
HD800S
Clear/Radiance

Movies/TV:
HD800S
HE-6SE v2
Stellia
TH900
SRH-1540

Gaming (Keep in mind I don't play games competitively anymore):
HD700
TH-900
DT-880
HD800S
SRH-1540
HD599

Susvara / 1266 Phi (godlike in their department)
Kinera Nanna (goddamnit it's still so enjoyable)
LCD-2f (sadly a bit redundant with the 2 TOTL's, will maybe sell)
Hemp / Elegia / Sundara (Hemp is sth totally different / i need a closed back, trying to upgrade this right now / my first grab when i sit down)
HD800S (godlike for gaming but will probably sell)
HD6XX (Ehhhh, okish on tubes, overhyped)
MDR-Z1R (not a fan, will sell them again)

Current:
1: Audio-Technica ATH-AWKT
2: Sony MDR-Z1R
3: 64Audio N8 Customs
4: Audio-Technica ATH-WP900
5: Sennheiser HD58X
6: Drop Panda

Previous:
3.5: Audio-Technica ATH-W5000
4.5: Fostex T60RP Argon’s

Honorable Mentions:
Bose IE2 earbuds. These were my only headphones for 4-5 years and they were probably they most comfortable “IEMs” (non-custom) that I have ever used. Nothing else even comes close.
Bose Soundwear. I use this everyday to listen to podcasts, YouTube, etc. from my iPhone for 4-6 hours. I seriously would go crazy without it,

This is a whole lot easier now that I’ve sold a lot of gear!

1. Zmf Caldera
2. Zmf eikon
3. Hd600
Also 3. Diy alphas. They’re pretty darn good with ether angled pads.

side-note — bought & sold Meze Elite same time as Atrium. Landed in the ‘really like’ bucket, but Atrium ended up being the keeper.
