All the help, from my last thread, is greatly appreciated. Although, I'm looking more for comparisons from people who have used multiple types. Maybe ranking them something like:

Comfort: X, Y, Z
Isolation: Y, Z, X
Longevity: Z, Y, X

Then add notes about each:

X makes the highs more detailed, but the bass gets worse, great for the gym
Y adds "thump" to the bass and a better sound stage, LOVE these for plane rides
Z blah, blah, blah

You get the idea. This could be a good resource for new owners and those wanting to try something different.
Thanks to everyone for sharing.

Yes, I'm Having trouble deciding myself. It's come down to complys, shure olives and ety foams. While i haven't tried them myself, I heard the olives reduces quality of highs and mids for better bass ><, something I don't want with the Atrios.

FS foamies sound very similar to the Etys. Etys are quite a bit more durable (I generally get 1-3 months of use, and I use these things VERY heavily).

I've used almost all of the tips I could get my hands on. I am not much of a basshead, which probably colors my choices, but my ranking is (from favorite to least):

Ety black foam tips (great balance, open highs, very durable)
FS foam tips (great balance, good highs, not very durable)
Comply foam tips (the bass with these in will shake your brain.. but they sound good otherwise and last for a long time)
Shure foam tips (muffles highs a bit, enhances bass. Also not a great fit for me)
FS flanges (gives a little too much to the bass)
Ety flanges (Bumping bass and seems to close down the highs a bit)

Does anyone else have any opinions? Please don't make me try to sift through the Atrio thread.

Shure foam tips I find DO muffle highs and mid-range, too much for my listening tastes. The FS flanges I like, however, because they're so soft, they squish around a lot, and don't sit in place as well as my UE flanges on my Super.fi 5 Pros. However, it's worth nothing that the FS flanges do NOT sacrifice high and mid-range, even though it does pack a very well-controlled, detailed bass punch. I'm looking forward to trying Comply foam tips though, since in general people who've tried them prefer them over Shure's bass-heavy tips. However, not quite sure what length (Standard, Slim, Short) to get for the Atrios.

I've tried them all. I settled on Comply gray shorts for one ear, and a slim for the other. I know, weird. I also like the Ety foamies, with the FS foamies third. The FS flanges (medium) also are a nice change now and again.

I wish idealsound sold the FS foamies. The small FS foamies are actually perfect for me! I bought the Ety black foamies and they are equivilant to the FS large foamies, although I can use them, the small FS ones are a perfect fit without having to compress it too much.

I will use up the Ety foamies and then ill see what happens cos there is no way im paying US$20 to FS for just postage for their foamies!

also for me the small FS foamies fit, seal and sound very good and - for me important - they are very comfortable ... my favourites for the Atrio. Since a week I'm trying the Comply foams ( trial pack ) from earphonestore and they are definitively an alternative to the FS foamies. I found that the slim one fit best for me ... they are going deeper in my ear-canal and seal better than the FS foamies ... the sound is also very good ( but with a bit more bass than the FS ones ).
Think you should give the Complies a try ....

Cheers! Its almost impossible to get comply's in Australia. Also, i like the FS foamies cos i don't really want more bass. The shure olives are great but the bass becomes darker and the highs are not as nice so its either the FS slims or flanges for me i guess.

the comply's give a better seal and isolation then the FS foamies and that's IMHO the reason for that excellent but not too much bass response ... they are worth to try ... []http://earplugstore.stores.yahoo.net] sell the Comply's and will send to Australia ( US$6.10 )

[]http://www.handheldaudio.co.uk] sell the FS foamies ... and will send also to Australia ( you should try to get un-recorded mail to minimize the costs)

I for myself like both tips and use them alternately

Cheers for the tip tips joko!

I visited the recommended sites, I love the FS small foamies but a pack of 5 pairs is AUD$25 plus postage so about AUD$35 for 5 pairs, thats $7 every 2 weeks (which is how long a pair of the FS foamies lasts me). $175/year is a bit too much to spend just on tips

I might resort to making my own LOL
