Hi! What tips do people like for these? Just bought a used pair that didn't come with any.

Also, sort of a random question: how do tips that partially cover the nozzle (such as those that narrow) change audio quality?

I liked the comply foams medium size when I owned the Pentas. They were the most comfortable for me. The Azlas were also good and opened up the sound a bit. What a great IEM. Loved them. A great piece of engineering.

I reviewed a number of tips in my Rai Penta review at https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/meze-audio-rai-penta.23896/review/23953/. I have found the Azla SednaEarfit to give me the best sound signature. I do not like reducing the bore size with these as I don't believe they are overly bright.

I like the Spiral Dot++ with the Penta, doesn’t cover the bores at all and they are comfortable!

I'm getting rid of all my IEMs including the Pentas due to medical issues and moving to full-size headphones; does anyone have the Pentas and have experience with a similar sounding full-size headphone? Want to get something similar to them and don't have the $$ to get the Empyreans

If you want an open-back compatible I find the Sennheiser 800S at half the price of the Empyreans allow me to comfortably switch. I actually, don't consider the Rai Pentas to have the same signature as the Empyreans but instead being more neutral.
