Rafe's Inner Fidelity

We are witnessing the rise and fall of a great site due to the negligence of the site's owners in not procuring the right successor to Tyll.
I do not think it is negligence, and I think AVTech Media Americas has the perfect successor to Tyll. InnerFidelity is in it for the money. Let us not kid ourselves. Almost all headphone sites are in it for the money.

But how should headphone sites make their money? Should they try to provide content that is of interest to headphone enthusiasts? Should they at least make an attempt to show a tiny amount of objectivity? In other words, should the headphone site attempt to make their money by taking care of headphone enthusiasts in the hope that with increased page views, advertisers will be willing to pay more for their ads?

Or is the alternative business model superior? To never say anything bad about any of the devices reviewed? To only think about how to best promote the sponsors’ products? To become a place for press releases only? To show only contempt for headphone enthusiasts? Does anyone at AVTech Media Americas even care about the number of page views? https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/innerfidelity.com

TYll was getting too old to keep doing what he was.
Also others like Jude and Harmon had better gear than Tyll could afford to do their own testing.
