Where did you find it for $800.00? The starting bid is $3200 something!!


But thats normal...I wouldnt expect it to go for any less...

$4000.00?? Nah...you can get them from several places for around $3000.00

Doesnt mean I am gonna get one just coz it is $1000.00 cheaper than retail

Seems odd to have a 10+ year old R10 with a serial number 1140. Mine were made in 2003 and have a serial number of 1123.

I think he means he has two R10s. One that he has been using for 10 years, and another that has not been opened.

He says the one that he owns and uses is 10 years old. The one he is selling is from late 2001.

You just have to read the entire description!!

Ok, my bad! So sorry... but the serial numbers still don't quite jive.

#1140 from 2001 and #1123 from 2003?

Let's see, 20 units in 2 years.

How long has R10 been out?

Let's assume 1980, 25 years, that's 500 units.

Could be the demand was higher when the R10 was initially introduced.

But how does the seller know the serial number if the box has not been opened?

usually it is written on the cardboard box it comes in, at least my Audio-Technica and STAX have them there too along with on the headphones themselves.
