I have a pair of Denon AH-D1001 that have been working perfectly until today when the R side stopped working. Is there a easy way to take apart the HP to to see if there is a loose wire? Is there any other issue it could be to look at as well? I would appreciate any thoughts on this!

If you remove the earpad you'll find two small philips screws, remove those to open it up. Have you verified that it's not the cable at the plug end. Do the right side get any sound if you wiggle it about?

Thanks for your thoughts! I tried wiggling the cable at the right cup as well as at the plug end but did not get any sound. I will try again tomorrow. The thread that is linked will be a huge help and I can do the mods as well at the same time. Thanks again
