Quloos QH1 - impressions

Thanks for your feedback. I do find myself when you talk about "a detailed sound without being analytical", which is probably the best condensed way to sum-up the QH1.
As for the LPS goodness, well, that does bring some light on the association, but that's unfortunately not the way I'm listening to headphones currently. I really need my setup to be able to follow me around.
But I'm striving to hearing what the combination of QH1 + LPS brings out of the QH1 in addition to the general goodness it already sings.

Anyone looking at bigger amps dismissing the QH1 and LPS combination just based on size is mistaken.I have never seen a separate power supply for a Headphone amp thinking it surely has to bring benefits just like going from integrated to pre/power in the past when I had a 2ch system.

No declared love here... Anyway, I'm still massively enjoying it paired with the Susvara. I have the feeling that it "loses" some output power somewhat when the battery is drained like, under 50%. Or it may be my mind playing tricks, I don't know. Anyway Quloos has been on to quite something with that big square. Not portable by any means but transportable enough to do the job in a flat, and potentially upgradable going wired either through DC in or with the LPS add-on.

I still think it delivers a detailed, neutral yet very natural sound. Leaving ground to your headphones expressing themselves, while holding a tight grip on it thanks to the 6,5W at hands. Sure you'll ne able to go further with some high-end desktop stuff, but for around 1100€ that's a rea l nice proposition for anyone looking for a very capable amp on-the-go (to the sacrifice of true portability).

Right now I only consider trying some Fosi mono v3, totally different stuff, to check what could bring the Susvara further.

For curious people, I did order, and receive, the Fosi mono v3, using the QH1 as a pre-amp. It really does the job well, I'm not hearing any noisefloor or whatsoever.
Strangely (or not, I'm not familiar with pre-amp mode), I mistakenly plugged my Susvara on the headphone out while in pre mode, and it was still gutting sound out of it!
Volume control is perfect and incidentally, I find myself listenning the Fosi mono v3 at roughly the same level as the QH1 as an amp: around 30 using the Fosi mono, around 35 straight out of the QH1.
But the result is not same fortunately. There is this little more air, the deeper reaching, more earthly subs to the general sound presentation that makes the Fosi hard to disregard when having the choice. But the QH1 does stand its own, especially considering it's doing all the job while on battery. It's just doing a little less, but that's often the little more our ears are missing...
