Most of my cd collection is in WAV format. (I ripped my music to wav using EAC)
I'm about to convert it to Apple lossless using itunes. I realise that there will be no difference in sound quality as its lossless. But if for some reason i wanted to convert it back to WAV (using iTunes again) would i lose any sound quality from the original WAV that i converted?

Or to put it simply...

WAV -> Apple Lossless -> WAV

Would both of those WAV files be identical?

WAV -> Apple Lossless -> WAV = no sound quality loss

The audio data will be identical.
