Quick paypal question

My paypal account is currently unverified, and as such, I cannot send money. Would I be able to send money from my unverified account if the buyer used "Request Money" ?

You SHOULD be able to send money. I've done it tons of times with an unverified account (don't wanna go through all those extra hoops to have it verified).

Flip through all those tabs; should be a tab with "Send Money" or something similar.

Well when I hit "View Limits" on the main paypal page of my account it says

That's strange. I'm not verified and I've spent a couple grand through paypal--never seen anything like that before.

Have you added a credit card? I havent and i think that may be why...

If you have a PayPal account with no credit card or bank account attached, then it should be obvious that your sending limit is going to be $0.00...

Bah, I dont see the point to that limit. Ive got money in my account, I should be able to spend it.

Wait.


Now I see.

If for some reason fraud would be committed it would be hard to trace me down.

Quite so! I was also perplexed by this until I noticed you said bank account attached, which is what I have, but no credit card attached. You do need one or the other, however.
