Whats the difference between the HA-FX55Z and the HA-FX55V. They have the same specs and same price. The Zs have 4 colors and the V ones have 2 colors.

Also JVC Makes the HA-FX55 and the HA-FX33. The 5 is ten bucks more, Is it worth it? Is that much better than the 33? is the isolation as good? and SQ?

another question. What is better the sennheiser cx300 or the JVC HA-FX55 (the one thats 10 bucks more than the marshmallow).

it all depends on personal preference, do you like Asymmetrical or Symmetrical cords, FX55 has better specs on the paper, yet cost more. and FX33 cost less, and specs not as good as FX55 on the paper.

help me? and is the HA-FX55 just anupgraded version of the 33? does it have as good noise cancellng?

It does but you'll have to change the stock tips with something similar such as the EX51 tips to get better isolation.

Both do have different sound qualities but the FX55's are not too shabby.

I have had amazing luck switching the FX55 with any tip that fits - most do. The entire sound sig just changes into something amazing. I'm currently listening to them with fake ATH-CK5 tips and i think i'll just throw out the CK5 and keep the tips on my JVC.

55's aren't worth it if you need to get separate plugs.

I had the FX33 for a while. In fact, I think I was the first head-fi member to post about them. They sounded good to me but the FX55's are in a different league in my opinion. From what I figure just about every head-fi member has tips lying around somewhere. The FX55 is mostly unappreciated and is in a league of its own in the $20 range.

i have the 55 right now, and im not too happy with tehm , especially with the price of 40 can.

maybe i am expecting too much, because my stock headphones that came with the samsung yp z5 mp3 have SUPERIOR sound quality and good bass... the sound is also clean and crisp...

the 55 compared to the stock headphones is a bit muffled in the voices and sound a little like they are singing with their breath... the bass is too strong for my liking
isolation is ok i guess
fit pretty well

also, he cymbals are a little too exaggerated(noticabe)
