Questyle QP2R

Any idea how to obtain bit perfect playback from an Android phone (in my case LG G7 via UAPP app) to the QP2R acting as a USB DAC?

No matter the sample rate of the file I play on the phone, it is somehow always resampled to 24/48 when played on the QP2R.

I noticed when I play dsd eq don’t effect anything, but when I play 16 bit 44.1k WAV and FLAC file, only thing I notice is the volume lowered a little. Volume go back to normal volume when I close it.
Yep in dsd eq won’t work. It should work on 44100 16 & 24 bit.

But when you switch on eq and volume is lowered boosting or attenuating a freq has no audible effect on your unit?

Basically the only thing I notice is volume lowered, even I change the bass or other frequency to +6 there is no change at all.

The volume lowering is normal. I believe this is done to ensure no clipping when boosting frequencies. If boosting freq or attenuating during playback of 44100 16/24 files does not work you may have a defect unit. I would get in touch with your dealer.

Thank you for letting me know, I don't have many 16/24 files in the DAP but definitely I will check.
I would still keep it since I don't really need EQ. This DAP is nearly perfect. :)

Depends on iems. The andromeda is hissy with the Qp2r. The Sony does well with andromedas and other headphones that require a certain independence. I do own both.
well if i buy the iematch it would be better for removing the hiss?in terms of sq which is superior? If i can only buy one which is best in terms of SQ?
