I have a couple questions I was hoping some of you might help me with:
1) Is it true that the Sony BP-2EX/BP-2X battery pack (used in the D-25 and D-555) works in a Denon DCP-150?
2) Has anyone had any luck finding a small amp (like the size of a headphone amp) that I could link with a PCDP (say a DCP-150) and that would drive a set of small speakers (say the PSB Alpha Mite, or the new Anthony Gallo Acoustics Nucleus Micro)... to make a very small, and very cool, (trans)-portable CD system?
1) I do believe so. But I remember some issue about the type of battery, so if you want to completely safe, you could try using the Powerbank from Radio Shack which is basically a portable battery and charger.
2) Sonic Impact T-amp? There are a lot of threads on this in the amplifier forum if you search.
And wow, it's been a while since I've talked about the DCP-150. Are you looking to buy one or do you already own one?
To answer your first question, yes the DCP-150 can be powered by the Sony BP-2EX battery as the original ones that came with the DCP-150 and the Sony BP-2EX are identical.
As for your amp question, I don't have much experience with a small amp that will power the speakers you're describing so I can't give an answer. Try posting or doing a serch in the amp forum.
