Questions about the Fiio E11?

Should I have it set to High power and low gain or Low power and high gain? Or high power and low gain or the other way around? For use with the M50's and Pro700 MK2's. I know these are both low impedance cans at 36 ohms and 38 ohms but I notice a difference even though most people say the M50's don't need an amp. It's nothing dramatic but it widens the soundstage a little and makes them sound a little less veiled. So I was wondering if I should be using High power or low power.

High power should give you better SQ in the cost of battery life. Low gain will give you less noise.
