I was wondering if someone who owns an Alessandro MS One can tell me if it has a 1/4" or 1/8" plug? I can't seem to find anything about it on their web site.

Hmmm... I wonder if the plug would answer the old debate about whether it is based on the SR80 or the SR125...

When you order you have to tell Alessandro Music what plug you want.

You can get either a 1/4" plug, or a 1/8" plug with a 1/4" adapter.

BTW, Alessandro Music says they are based on the 125s.

When I bought mine, I forgot to specify the plug i wanted. So i ended up with the 1/4" plug and quickly got the 1/8" adapter which works great for all phones.

i don't think the argument will ever be settled. From what I've heard most people say of them, they fall in between the sr80s and sr-125s. :-/

I have never heard the SR-80 or SR-125.

I can only state what Alessandro Music told me.

I do know the MS1s sound really good, a seem like a good deal at $99 shipped.

Would you agree that they are less bright than other grados? Have you heard other grados?

I have never heard any other Grados.

Unfortunately I have no access to any good phones locally.
