Hi, im interested if anyone tried to mod akg 701/601/501 by changing a cups. I already seen a dumpening, friend or foo mod, but i was interested if anyone tried to put wooden cups, similar to denons or lcd2 instead of stock plastic ones, and their thoughts on that.
Headphone could be semi open or closed, and im only curious if mod is possible and not expecting to see whole lotta change in SQ, or something.
If anyone has experience with this or similar mods, please post your impressions.
