Question about Zen Micros

My friend wanted me to buy a white zen micro
but i cannot find this color anymore. is this color discontinued?
also are there like different generations of zen micro like the ipod mini's?
because the store near my building have zen micros for only 199 cdn, but the packaging looks a bit bigger then the ones in futureshop.
can someone please help a newb out?

Not all retailers carry all colors of the Micro, so you may have to shop around for the one you want. As for the packaging, shortly after the Micro's release Creative stopped shipping them with A/C adatpers to cut costs. The smaller packages you're seeing are most likely these units, while the larger ones are older stock that include the adapter.

4GB and 6GB is having the small package, with no adapter. 5GB is of the bigger package, with remote control and adapter bundled.

Creative is no longer shipping the Micro with the A/C adapter included, whatever the capacity. Also, the remote is NOT included with the 5GB Micro. The remote is a $20 accessory that you have to purchase seperately.
