My brother's friend managed to somehow sever the wire leading to the left earcup in my HD280 (she's a girl, go figure). Will Sennheiser cover this under warentee or do I have to hassle teh girl untill she pays me (and if it costs money, she WILL PAY!!!!!!!!) I'm really pissed I don't have a pair of good headphones to listen to. I sware, they are only 1 month old, how could she do this.

Don't be a misogynist. It's not worth it.

And yes, Sennheisers have a 2 year full-service warranty. Just take it back to the place you bought it from, as long it was an authorized Senn dealer, or go to a dealer, and make them deal with it.

Should work. And sorry about your misfortune. If it is any comfort you to, my dog has eaten two pairs of my headphones, albeit they were Koss Portapros, but I know the feeling of losing a loved one.

I don't hate women, just this one's really pissed me off.

Anyway, I bought from Etronics, I wanted to ship the cans back to Sennheiser and get a new pair but I don't know what to do now. I'll call them tomorrow.

Well try to have a Merry Christmas...

Remember, it's just a headphone.

Well, the headphones aren't the only thing that has gone wrong in the last 3 weeks. I hurt my ancle so I can't run track for the next month. ALL my CDs (about 120) were stolen 1 week ago along with all my biology and algebra 2 notes, my algebra 2 book and my Ti-83 calculator. I had to pay for the books and calculator, which totaled about 160 dollars. Plus some of the CDs I was carrying wern't mine (about 60 collars worth) so I had to replace those as well. As you can see, no money was left for christmas shopping for myself. On top of all that, she broke my headphones, so I'm not having a good day. But let me not kill the mood for you so I'll shut up now. Happy holidays.

Ouch... that is really bad luck!

This HD280 incident just tops it all.

But as your brothers friend is a girl, I atleast would've been ready to expect something like that...

Yeah, worst luck I've had ever.

From now on, no one ever touches my audio or computer equipment, especially my brother and his friend (my brother can't even connect a VCR to a TV using 2 channel analog and composite video plugs, eventhough they are color coded. And he's 13)

Theft is the most hateful crime next to rape and murder IMO.

It's such a blatant violation of privacy and will scar someone for life.

I'm really sorry about your losses.

Trouce, I agree with you competely.

Although, I find some comfort in the fact that I almost left my CD player and HD280s in the backpack but decided to take them with me at the last moment. Your kind words help as well. Thanks.
