So I was considering getting a HiFace or something to use with my HM-801 and macbook, since the USB DAC mode for the HM-801 is limited to 16/44 I think. And that got me wondering if Im not getting what i think im getting at my desktop setup. I have a iMac feeding a buffalo 2 via usb, however im not sure if the iMac is really transmitting 24/96 and 24/192 to my dac really. If not I can use the optical but that is being used already for another setup, witch would make me buying a Hiface more likely. So if anyone knows if im using usb on imac am I really getting what I think I am getting. Thanks
