Question about head amps..

If I run my comp to a two channed reciever 100x2. Will I still need a headphone amp?

Welcome to head-fi, sorry about your wallet!

You will not "NEED" a headamp if your receiver has a headphone jack. A receiver is fine in a lot of situations but it's possible that a dedicated headamp will give you better results depending on your source and your headphones.
