question about changing tone of cha47

i have a cha47 amp. is there a way to change the sound , iwould like to reduce top end brightness a little

Hi Ken,

I had a similar issue with my cha47 and I just replaced my 10k pot with a 100k pot. It definitely softened the sound, but I'm not sure how much I'm losing off the top end. Who knows, maybe I'm rolling off at something like 10kHz-15kHz...I wonder if anyone here knows how to calculate someting like that?

so what op-amps are you presently using ?
Caps ?
Resistors ?
The active stage has the most influence on the sound , followed by passive parts.You can "voice" an amp according to what you choose .Same circuit , different sound
