Question about 3 channel CMOY amps

What does the "3 channel" actually refer to? I've only heard that term used for amps with three headphone outputs. But this is just a single output amp. Presumably they're claiming that this design gives better performance, but in what way?

The three channels are left, right, and ground (these match the three "sections" on your headphone's 3.5 mm jack). What's different here is that the ground has an opamp and is somehow actively driven, vs just being a passive ground (typical 2 channel amp). Whether this is a good or a bad thing in terms of sound quality, IDK.
